Introdution to DSA 2020
Sang Ouk Kim
Organizing chair of DSA 2020 |
Directed Self-Assembly (DSA) is a generic principle to control the molecular self-assembly of block copolymers for advanced lithographic application. DSA research has successfully fostered original nanopatterning platform, compatible to manufacture scale production with ultrafine pattern dimension even below 3 nm scale. Early day research efforts for DSA were principally motivated by semiconductor nanolithography process but the potential of DSA is continuously growing as a general tool for nanoscale patterning.
Following the 5th edition hosted in Milan in 2019, The 6th DSA 2020 International Symposium will be held in KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea, one of the most active research institutes for DSA, in Oct. 28-30. The conference venue will be the ‘Jeong Keun Mo conference hall’ located in KAIST main campus. Noticeably, the number of invited speakers is increased from previous editions to cover the growing research scope relevant to DSA. |
